JoJoe's WWF Attitude Review
WWF ATTITUDE PSX

Have you ever been to a live WWF event? The incredible rush and excitement you feel. That is how you feel when you play WWF Attitude, Acclaim's last WWF game. This game is complete with authentic ring entrances and music for all of your favorite WWF Superstars, from Steve Austin to (gulp) Paul Bearer, this game's got it all! To complete the feeling, you get play-by-play commentary by Shane McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

The Create-A-Player option has been greatly improved over last year's WWF Warzone. You can change everything from eyes to the text on your wrestlers shirt and pants. You can even assign his/hers moves! So if you want the Rock Bottom, or Tombstone Piledriver as a regular move, you can have it! Speaking of moves, the finishing moves in this game are absolutely perfect! From the hilarious Bronco Buster to the devastating Pimp Drop, they are all amazing.

The new Hard Core matches are fun! They are basically the same thing as the weapons matches in WarZone, but, with a lot more variety of weapons. You can beat your opponents sideways with a good 'ol microphone, to VinnyMac's Bedpan!

Attitude isn't without faults though. Sometimes matches are impossible to win - 3 on 1 for example. The loading times are ok , but they definitely take away some of the intensity you feel going into a match. Sometimes the commentary gets repetitive, but, it's still funny (at times).

Graphics - 8 - the graphics are good, but some of the wrestlers look, well, distorted in the facial area.

Sound - 9 - damn, this stuff is good

Game Play- 8 - The moves are a little difficult at first, but once you learn them, it's fun

Replayability - 10 - lots and lots of options will keep you coming back for more

Overall - 9 - excellent game, WWF Attitude Rocks!
